Our IBC totes contained only water soluble food grade liquids (original manufacturer's labels are on all totes)
Our totes have only been used 1x. We never sell “reconditioned” IBC totes !
DO NOT risk poisoning someone by purchasing a cheap IBC tote which most likely contained hazardous chemicals or totes from an unknown source or totes which have had their original contents label removed or have been “reconditioned” !
ONLY verified Food Grade IBC totes are BPA free and safe for potable, drinking water or rainwater collection .
We also have BRAND NEW IBC totes ! These have aluminum safety seals on their valves and caps locked with steel cables.
Many of our Food Grade IBC Totes do not need any cleaning for rainwater use.
Others are easily rinsed using a garden hose, cold water and optionally some liquid dish soap.
An IBC Tote is a large container made of non-leaching, BPA-free, virgin High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and is wrapped in a very strong galvanized steel cage.
When empty, an IBC Tote can be moved or stacked (2-high) by hand, no forklift is needed.
IBC Totes are commonly stacked up to 3 high when full of liquid with a properly reinforced concrete pad. Their galvanized steel cages interlock, giving you up to 825 gallons of rainwater in just 13 square feet of floor space.
