Pecan Table Legs (Wayfair)
+ Faux Marble Table Top (BCP)
= Custom Kitchen Table
Here’s the story:
Originally purchased the round Christi Dining Table from Wayfair (see stock photo)—it was perfect, quaint but still an element of class to it.
However, after a year or so, due to superintendent having personal driveway redone, the vibrations from the concrete being drilled over a couple of weeks (beneath where I was living at at the time), one morning I awoke to tempered glass shattered into tiny little pieces all over my floor.
Wayfair gladly offered to replace the table and send me a new one, however construction still persisted (at that time) and I wasn’t sure if due to the construction it might be happen again with the new table. So wisely I opted to just keep the legs of the original table and just find a table top that alternatively would compliment the legs but wouldn’t be as prone to break or shatter as the tempered glass top did.
Wayfair’s Christi Dining Table was 36in x 36in, in diameter, which is quite modest in size for an average round dining room table. So I began to search for coffee tables instead. I stumbled upon (BCP) Best Choice Product designer coffee table, having the same dimensions, but sturdy and not prone to break seemed to be a thoughtful idea.
All of this to say custom dining table, seen in my photos, is the amalgamation of both products: I combined the faux marble coffee table top, to lay on top of the Christy Pecan Dining Table legs and it generously served my needs—an intimate dining space that suit an 1 bdrm apt setting.
Selling it now as is (INCLUDING BRAND NEW BLACK COFFEE TABLE LEGS). If it looks like something that might suit you and your needs pls reach out. Only asking $175/obo for everything.
