About Us
Select Rentals is a fast-growing vacation rental management company managing 30 homes throughout the Poconos. We focus on delivering a 5-star guest experience while keeping our homes running smoothly.
We’re looking for a reliable Weekend Property Runner / Light Maintenance Tech to help handle guest-related issues and light maintenance requests during our busiest turnover days — primarily Fridays and Saturdays, especially during peak summer season.
This role is ideal for someone who likes being on the move, solving problems quickly, and working independently.
What You’ll Do
Respond to guest emergencies and urgent issues at rental properties
Handle simple maintenance tasks such as:
Changing batteries
Resetting WiFi/router systems
Replacing smoke detector batteries
Basic troubleshooting for appliances/TVs/thermostats
Delivering Propane Tanks
Minor plumbing fixes (clogs, leaks, etc.)
Delivering supplies to homes when needed
Coordinate with our team when larger repairs require outside vendors
Travel between homes throughout the Poconos region
Help ensure guests have a seamless experience during their stay
What We’re Looking For
Reliable transportation (this is required — you’ll be driving between properties)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Basic handyman/maintenance experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Dependable and responsive — weekends are critical for our business
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Schedule
Primarily Fridays and Saturdays
Peak demand during summer months
