The Healtech provides switched power for the Car Play screen. It also has available ports for additional 12v accessories. The Healtech senses when the engine is running and then provides power to the accessories. When the engine stops, it turns off the power.
The 12v charge cable is also a source of power for 12v accessories such as a heated vest. The USB-C cable is long enough to reach a cell phone stored safely in a jacket pocket.
