I'm looking to sell this fine, barely used Soldano Super Lead Overdrive Plus pedal, for what I think is a very good price, considering its excellent, like-new condition.
The Super Lead Overdrive Plus pedal impressively emulates, in a compact stompbox that runs on 9 volts DC, the two channels of the legendary Soldano SLO-100 tube amplifier, enabling you to conveniently toggle between warm-sounding, moderately overdriven crunch tones and fully saturated high gain.
The pedal faithfully re-creates the original amp’s cascading-gain-stage topology. Its Overdrive channel delivers what’s arguably the most detailed-sounding high-gain tones of all time. Its Normal channel is a dead ringer for its tube-fueled predecessor’s Crunch mode, equipping you with an inspiring blues sound with unbelievable touch sensitivity. The pedal's controls mirror those of the amp that inspired it, with the two channels sharing a 3-band EQ and Presence knob. You also get per-channel Master and Preamp gain and volume knobs. There's also a side-mounted Deep switch for nailing the original amp’s Depth-knob low-end punch. No matter what tone you’re aiming to dial in — modern high gain, early-’90s Van Halen or Lynch, or ’80s-era Clapton or Knopfler — the Super Lead Overdrive Plus pedal can deliver it.
Features:
• The pedal packs both channels of the legendary SLO-100 tube amp into a pedalboard-friendly stompbox.
• It replicates the original amp’s cascading-gain-stage design for authentic SLO tone.
• The Overdrive channel delivers a super-thick sound that’s framed by a scorching, high-octane sizzle.
• The Normal channel replicates the original amp’s Crunch mode for an inspiring blues-tinged sound with unbelievable touch sensitivity.
• A dedicated Channel footswitch provides effortless, noise-free switching between the two channels.
• A shared 3-band EQ and a shared Presence knob offer all the sound sculpting you could ask for.
• The Presence control refines the pedal’s high-end sizzle.
• Per-channel Master and Preamp knobs dial in your output level and amount of saturation.
• A side-mounted Deep voicing switch nails the original amp’s Depth-knob low-end punch.
You're welcome to try out the pedal in my living room, using your own guitar and amp and/or my Gibson SG Standard (equipped with a coil-tap switch) and Friedman Runt 20 and/or Fender Pro Junior tube amplifiers.
My terms are cash and carry only (not interested in any trades). And please understand that this is the lowest price I'm willing to let the pedal go for, considering its nearly new condition and that new ones sell for $270.
