Right now I’m testing the waters again. I play a 4 string. In the market for a 5 string.
Probably been playing for about 15 or 20 years. Played in bands before but it’s been awhile.
I also play with a pick. Apparently that’s a big deal for some people.
Blues, Country/southern rock, Rock, Grunge, Hard Rock, Metal, thrash, death metal.
Really just about anything with a pulse.
I don’t currently own a bass amp, I’ve been playing out of a rehearsal studio and using theirs. I do have a job, so if a permanent band situation arises, I can go get an amp literally the next day. But i’m not going to invest in an amp right now if it’s just me playing by myself. Ya’know?
I prefer originals but I’m ok with covers.
My main goal here is to get into a situation that ultimately leads to playing out sooner than later.
